'Healing,' Papa would tell me, 'is not a science, but the intuitive art of wooing nature.'   W.H. Auden

I believe that your ability to heal is better than you have been led to believe and that the only one that can heal you, is you. In order to heal you need to believe that you can and you will. My mission is to help you remove as many obstacles or interferences to your natural healing and natural being. I hold a vision for you of you at your optimum, at your natural potential and I promise to do all I can to help you on your journey to realising that potential. This is my definition of health. The ability to realise your natural potential has always been and will always be within you.

I believe that there is an order and a purpose to nature, to the universe and to organic systems like us; that we are constantly self-healing, developing and regulating in order to return to a natural harmonious balance. The more unnatural our internal and external environment, the more work is required to return to and maintain that harmony (this work is often called stress). The more natural harmony we have in our lives the more life we have for our living. The more disharmony the less of you there is to give. As a Chiropractor I attempt to reduce disharmony to allow you to be more you and to reconnect to what Chiropractors call your innate intelligence or natural abundance.

"I am that innate intelligence with a body in which to express myself." B J Palmer

Your true potential must come from you, progress from inside to out; there are no outside to in short-cuts to being your best.

I believe that there needs to be a culture shift in the way that we think about our health. There is continuum from health to disease, the more you have of one, the less you have of the other. It makes sense to increase the amount of health in our lives to prevent 'dis-ease'. Each of us has the power within us to heal from injury or insult, to live at our optimum and to give the most life to our living.

I graduated from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic after completing a BSc and MSc in 1998. I’ve practiced in Sheffield, Bristol and London but I am originally from Cornwall. I am very happy to finally be back home. I live in Falmouth with my wife and Jack Russell (called Nuuska) and can’t wait to start serving my local community.

I originally fell in love with Chiropractic as a young man when I became aware of the positive effects that care had on my family, and then on my own feeling of vitality, positivity and my improved performance on the sports field. Over the years I have seen so many life affirming changes in people’s lives due to Chiropractic care helping them to heal themselves.

I love the youthful energy, community and culture of Falmouth; the local countryside, the water, the fresh air, walking my dog and playing my guitar. I am very happy to have left the pollution and stress of London behind to enjoy a lifestyle that is congruent with my beliefs. I believe that we are best in our natural environment, eating natural, locally sourced foods with a strong local community around us.
